Education + Grant Making
We provide grants to organizations that further the development of compassionate pediatric care. If that sounds like the kind of work you’re doing, we’d love to connect.
Training
We offer healthcare providers best-in-class training on current hospice protocols for children.
Grant Making
We grant funds to organizations that support our larger mission to further the availability of children’s hospice programs. This includes grants for new educational materials, events and training opportunities, life enrichment opportunities, and support of local hospice workers serving pediatric patients.
Education
We supply accessible and easy to understand marketing materials for providers to give parents.
We also provide parents specific material to support conversations within the family and with their communities about the process and needs of a dying child.
“To honor Piper’s legacy, we have made it our mission to support organizations that further the development of pediatric hospice, palliative and respite care to provide compassionate and holistic support for children and families facing life-limiting diagnoses.”
- Jesse + Kelley Amundson, Piper’s Parents
“ Through their gratitude and giving to honor their late daughter, Piper, our Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital NICU hosted their first-ever palliative care conference. Amundson family, thank you for allowing the Novant Health Foundation to be part of carrying on Piper’s legacy. She is making a difference every day!”

Our Mission at Work: Novant
In spring 2025, we partnered with the Novant Health Foundation to host the first-ever Perinatal Palliative Care Conference to educate the many hard working doctors, nurses and staff at Novant Health.
If you have an idea for a training, we’d love to talk with you about partnering with a grant.
