Community

We desire to make pediatric hospice as widely recognized as adult hospice.

We hope to bring community together to provide a supportive group for parents choosing hospice for their child.

Amplifying the voices of medically fragile children and their communities

The death of a child can be very isolating for families and often close family and friends do not know how to react or respond to the news that a child is entering hospice or palliative care. By giving a voice to those children and their communities we strive to work toward a more cohesive and inclusive community.

The Piper G. Amundson Foundation is active in the medical community and in the community of parents of medically complex children. We sponsor, support and volunteer at events that support this community.
